Major Video…
I am also working on a major video which will accompany my prints…
I am still working on the audio for it…
Have a few ideas circulating… drum beats… heart beats… and maybe something else…
I’m not sure where I want to go with it…
Any ideas?
I need some inspiration…………….
Major Work…
My major work for this semester is coming along quite nicely…
From my original idea and proposal, I have changed a few things…
I am more focusing on the idea of heartbreak / loss… it’s the moment of pain and self-reflection…
Here’s a sample of my images…
Any suggestions? I’ve been looking at the work of :
Kelly Fajack / Kathleen Estrada / Hideharu Satoh
still doing some final research etc…
Let me know what you think…

I am also working on putting my website online…
Still not quite up to speed – it’s proving to be a little more tricky than I first anticipated…
oh well…
Take a look and any feedback would be greatly appreciated as this is the first time I have gone live…
still thinking…
I have steadily been exploring the same idea of the body as a canvas… But what does this “canvas” respresent? After researching more artists I have decided to represent heartbreak onto the bodies of women. This is something that is inevitable for every person. Whether it relates to a person / relationship, or just one part of their life, heartbreak is felt by everyone at some stage.
Instead of subtly printing the text onto bodies however, I have explored using paint to print text on the models backs. Then I have allowed each model to react to the emotion of what it means to them…
Has been very interesting so far…
more pic’s…
So far…
I have done a few test shoots as well as a studio shoot…
I’m liking what I’ve done thus far…
Still a bit to do…
I am also working on my major video assignment (inspired by this project)… coming along nicely…
With a little help from my drumer sister Ash – I have captured the audio – ready to go with the footage…
Sounds unreal…
time is a t i c k i n ‘. . .
So far I am still working on my major independent photography work for semester two… I have however expanded on my idea a tad…
Instead of using a blank canvas to draw upon, I’m going to use the figure…
I will shoot this in the studio on black and white film…
Question for you – What words / symbols / signs / gestures represents you?
Got anything for me?
bringing art into the public domain…
At the moment i am researching ideas for my Major Independent Work for Semester Two…
I am investigating signs / symbols / gestures / meanings
Question… What does a blank canvas symbolise?
I have looked at graffiti artists who use the walls of the cities as their canvas’…
